Lengacher’s participated in the 2017 NWTF taxidermy competition and received several awards all in the Master’s Division. Every mount that was entered by Lengacher’s World Class Taxidermy received a 1st place ribbon. They also received a Best of Category, Most Artistic, and the coveted “Best of Show!”
Lengacher’s also attended the 2017 Association of Indiana Taxidermist (AIT) taxidermy competition and again did well. Josh also brought home three, 1st place Master’s Division ribbons for turkeys, along with the NWTF Award and the Mounted in Alaska Award. Dean and Josh’s grandson/nephew competed for the first time with a squirrel and won a 1st place ribbon and several other awards. Josh and Dean’s brother/son also competed for the first time and received a 1st place Professional Division ribbon for Small Game Heads, as well as a Best of Category for Small Game Heads.

Lengacher’s attended the 2015 National Wild Turkey Federation (NWTF) taxidermy competition. While there, every piece entered received a 1st place in the Master’s Division. They were also awarded the WASCO Award for most artistic entry, AND a “Best of Category” for their group Turkey Mount.

Lengacher's Taxidermy in Washington, IN, owned by Josh and Dean Lengacher, again participated in the national turkey competition at the Grand National Wild Turkey Federation Convention in Nashville, Tennessee. The convention was held at the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center on the 9th-12th of February. There were over 75 competitors in this year's NWTF taxidermy competitions.
